tysoe About your celebrant
Any ceremony is a personal and intimate moment. To be a part of these moments is an honour and a fantastic experience for me. I got into celebrancy because I hoped to solemnise at a family wedding. While researching the "how to's" of becoming a celebrant I discovered an enriching and brilliant career.

I have been authorised by the Attorney General's Department, allowing me to officiate at weddings. To be authorised these days a celebrant must have completed a certain amount of study to ensure they can provide a comprehensive service.

This means you get more choice of ceremony and individuality, enriching your day. I am happy to say that ongong education requirments and opportunities mean that I get to ensure the high standard of my work. Allowing me to provide name giving ceremonies, commitment ceremonies and the more complex handfasting styles. I am always developing my skills and researching to be able to provide clients with access to resources such as readings and example ceremonial options.

Previous experience in writing and communication help me to ensure my work is of a high standard. Each client is provided with the opportunity to review the ceremony and gets a booklet copy on the day. I also encourage a non-obligatory first interview for clients to meet with me and ask any questions they need. I am happy if it is more convenient, to visit clients at their homes or cafes close to their work...

Fees vary depending on whether it is a wedding, commitment ceremony or namegiving. In general a Wedding Ceremony starts at $450.00. If the couple would like to order an official certificate of marriage as well as receiving the included presentation certificate this is an additional charge, as is on site rehearsals, travel beyond the metro area and ... well it depends on the ceremony, if you are particularly adventurous and want to jump out of a plane while exchanging rings then there is bound to be extra costs! Otherwise the basic fee includes the booking fee to confirm the reservation of the date, completion of the NOIM form, lodging of all official documents, numerous meetings to perfect the ceremony, examples of vows, and readings to choose from as well as a copy of the ceremony on the day, the Presentation Certificate and if needed I can provide a signing table and linen.

Name giving ceremonies cost approx. $250.00 and include the booking fee, a table for signing, the creation of a unique ceremony, numerous meetings to confirm arrangements and certificates for those involved in the ceremony as well as a copy of the ceremony.

Commitment Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows require as much work in the creation of a beautiful and unique ceremony as a legal wedding but with a little less paperwork. So they cost approx. $350.00 once again depending on location and extras. A certificate, a booklet of the ceremony, numerous interviews to perfect the day, signing table, examples of readings etc are all provided within this fee.
